Being one of the technical section in the Public
Works Department , we undertake all the architectural works of the State
:
- To Prepare designs for the State and Federal
Buildings.
- To provide advisory services related to Architectural
aspects.
Organisation :
This office comprises of 18 personnel, headed
by one Assistant Director ( Architect ) and being assisted by fifteen (15)
supporting staffs and two (2) labourers.
All the staffs are fully responsible to the Assistant
Director ( Achitect ), being responsible to the State Director of Department
to implement the projects in the state.
Objective :
- This section serves as a source for keeping,
maintaining and recording of all project drawings.
- To design a practical and economical building,
incoporating features reflecting the culture of the State Perpatih Customs.
- To offer advisory services to the Goverment Departments.
- To train skillful manpower in Architecture in
line with the latest technology in fulfilling the aspirations of the Country.
Functions:
- To plan and design for both State and Federal
Government projects including all Architectural drwaings and details for
the purpose of calling tenders. ...and at
- Pre Contract stage provide further Specifications
and details in order to contruct buildings which are functional, aesthetically
pleasing and within the financial allocation.
- To offer advisory services to other Government
related agencies in implementation of projects in the State.
