The
Management of Traffic System in Seremban has changed. SCATS
system had been introduced which involves 32 signal junctions and which
covers almost all parts of Seremban. Twenty two (22) signal outlets are
located in the town or CBD ( Central Business District ) and are now running
on SCATS which began operations from August 1997.The traffic flow density
in Seremban had tremendously changed ( more than 30,000 vehicles ply through
Yam Tuan in just 24 hrs.) . Thus, SCATS
is merely a solution whereby traffic flow is fully monitored and adjusted
automatically by some complicated high-tech equipment operating 24 hours
a day. Many of the old roads in CBD have been converted into a oneway road
system to accomodate for the smooth flow of traffic in the town. So do
not exceed the speed limit on these roads and drive carefully adhereing
to all the traffic rules. If you have a genuine and reasonable complaint
