from the State Director of Works
The
Public Works Department of Negeri Sembilan (JKR N.S.) implements the most
number of projects throughout the state. We are in this business for nearly
a decade. As such we are the reference for all other government departments
for the implementation of projects.In the past few years, JKR has undergone
tremendous change in terms of workload and personnel especially the professional
group. Due to the greener pastures in the private sector, many of the professionals
has left JKR without any immediate replacements. In contrast the workload
has increased tremendously. Whilst in the supportive group similar situations
do occur. Yet, we are still being trusted to deliver all the projects that
are being identified in the 7th Malaysian Plan.In view of all these, the
top management has to take a few steps to help cope with these changes.
Among the noble steps taken by the department is the usage of computers
for daily tasks; identifying our priority; closer monitoring of the projects
and optimum usage of manpower. Public Works Department of Negeri Sembilan
(JKR NS) is the leader in the state for implementing all government projects.
Our commitment is to deliver all the projects identified by our clients
within the stipulated time at a reasonable cost with the high quality.PWD
NS (JKR NS) homepage is an infobase center which holds all the basic information
that is meant for the public to view. It is our hope that this will make
our department more open and the allow the public to be aware of the departments's
activities.
