AUTODESK-JKR ASEAN INNOVATION & BIM AWARDS 2023 CEREMONY

The Autodesk-JKR ASEAN Innovation & BIM Awards 2023 Ceremony, jointly organized by Autodesk and the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR), was successfully held on October 25, 2023, at the Sime Darby Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur. This event, attended by approximately 250 industry professionals and JKR officials, was inaugurated by YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, the Minister of Works.

The dinner event was held with the aim of honoring the first-place winners of the JKR BIM Awards, which were announced during the JKR BIM Day program, and the national-level winners of the Autodesk ASEAN Innovation Awards, as follows:

Innovator of the Year Award - BIM Global Ventures

Cloud Advocate of the Year Award - Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd

Better World Builder of the Year Award - UTNM Resources Sdn Bhd

Future Pillar of the Year Award - Taylor's University

Digital Innovation Award - Modu Solution

The ceremony was further enriched by cultural dance performances by Aswara students, as well as saxophone melodies and singing by guest artists. The event concluded with a guided tour and a presentation of gifts and certificates to the exhibitors by YB Minister of Works, accompanied by honorable guests.

It is hoped that this event will ignite enthusiasm and serve as a catalyst for industry professionals to collaborate with the government in supporting the National Construction Policy 2030 and driving the digital transformation in the construction, engineering, and asset management industries.
