The FT64 Road Upgrade Project (Phase 1 Segment 7) from Jerantut Town to Kampung Lata Kasah began on December 27, 2017, and was fully completed on May 25, 2023. The main scope of work included upgrading the existing single-lane road to JKR R5 Standards, repairing a bridge (Sungai Par), and upgrading 7 intersections (Jalan Dato’ Kurnia Budiman, SMK Inderapura, Taman Sri Makmur, Kampung Sungai Lekok, Kampung Sungai Par, Kampung Binjai, and Kampung Lata Kasah) along the 6.7 km project stretch.
It is hoped that the upgrading of this road will enhance safety and convenience for all road users and the local community, ultimately boosting the potential for economic growth, tourism, health, agriculture, and industry in the vicinity of Jerantut Town.
Heartfelt congratulations are extended to all parties involved in ensuring the successful completion of this project.
