Bahagian Pengurusan Korporat dan Strategik, Cawangan Dasar dan Pengurusan Korporat has successfully organized the Sambutan Karnival Kesihatan Peringkat Ibu Pejabat JKR Malaysia Tahun 2023 on September 14, 2023 (Thursday) at Aras Plaza, Blok G from 930am to 1pm.
The carnival started with an aerobic session chaired by Ms. Nirlyana binti Binti. Nirlyana binti Buang and was graced by the presence of YBrs. Tuan Haji Badioezaman bin Ab Khalik, Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Building Sector) during the program walkabout session. This carnival is also in line with the National Agenda Malaysia Sihat (ANMS), which is an approach from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM) to ensure the people get health services and comprehensive interventions in acculturating healthy living and preserving environmental hygiene.
Various interesting activities and programs have been held with the cooperation of Jabatan Kesihatan Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, Pejabat Kesihatan Kepong, Bahagian Perkhidmatan Farmasi, Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia and Agensi Anti Dadah Kebangsaan (AADK).
Among the activities held were health and dental check-ups, optometry, dadah abuse exhibition, smoking ban and hazards, denggi hazards, dietary guidelines and healthy diet and drug control. BPKS, CDPK has received 158 visits. It is hoped that this carnival can benefit JKR residents and hopefully this collaboration between outside agencies can be continued in the future.
