On September 19, 2023, The Opening Ceremony of Safety & Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) Day 2023 was held at the Kuala Lumpur World Trade Center. The event was officiated by YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Public Works. It was also attended by YBhg. Datuk Seri Hj Hasnol Zam Zam, Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works, and Datuk Sr. Amran Haji Mohd Majid, Deputy Director-General of the Specialist Sector at the Public Works Department Malaysia.
SHEQ 2023, hosted by CIDB, aims to recognize and award industry players who have achieved outstanding success in the Quality Assessment System (QLASSIC), Safety and Health Assessment System (SHASSIC), as well as carbon reduction and environmental sustainability (MyCREST) in the construction sector in Malaysia.
Congratulations to the Perlis State Public Works Department for receiving the QLASSIC Excellence Award in the Government Project Commercial Building category for the Perlis State Government Administration Complex Project (New SUK Building). We also extend our appreciation to the Project Team and Pens Holdings Sdn Bhd, the contractor for this project.
We hope that this recognition will serve as a catalyst and commitment for all members of JKR Malaysia.
