Project Health Check

INTRODUCTION
 
Most projects are sick and we do not even realize the extent of their sickness and high percentage of projects finish behind schedule and/or over budget. To reduce the risk of project failing and improve quality of project, a quick independent assessment of the overall state of health of a project to be carried out to identify the strength and weakness of the project as early warning detection and develop recovery plan. The Project Health Check (PHC) can be performed at any time during the project life cycle. It is highly recommended for the new project that required project management application.


What is it?
It s a short independent assessment of how well the project is performing in accordance to its objectives and standards,carried out by a Project Health Check (PHC) Practitioner at any time during the project life cycle.

Why Use it?

 

  •  To assess the project is being managed in conformance with Project Management Best Practices.
  • To check that the project is on track to achieved its desired results.
  • To increased the likelihood of project success.

How Does It Work?

 

 

The PHC Practitioner uses the Project Health Check (PHC) Questionnaire with a personalized approach and discussion with the Project Management Team to diagnose the project health. The service is concluded by a report detailing the key findings of the study, and recommending a plan of action where appropriate.
