Pusat Kecemerlangan Kejuruteraan dan Teknologi JKR (CREaTE) has held the International Seminar on Forensic Engineering 2023 (ISoF2023) on 5 and 6 September 2023 and has been officiated by YBhg Datuk Ir. Ahmad Redza bin Ghulam Rasool, Director General of Works at Dewan CREaTE, Alor Gajah, Melaka. ISoF2023 was held aiming to cultivate knowledge among JKR residents once gus sharing experiences and knowledge in forensic engineering involving all disciplines of engineering.
Themed "Enhancing Reliability of Forensic Engineering for Safer Society", this year's ISoF2023 was attended by approximately 200 participants. In conjunction with this seminar, the keynote speech was delivered by Ir. Mohd Noor Azudin bin Haji Mansor, Former Pengarah Kejuruteraan Pakar (Structures), Cawangan Kejuruteraan Awam dan Struktur, Jabatan Kerja Raya. The two-day seminar has presented ten presenters involving two from outside the country and eight from Malaysia. In addition, as many as 8 pieces of exhibits have participated in this seminar.
Also present at ISoF2023 was the Timbalan Ketua Pengarah Kerja Raya (Infra Sector), YBhg. Dato' Ir. Hj Zulkipli bin Hj Nasri, Pengarah Kanan CREaTE, YBrs. Ir. Mohd Shahrom bin Ahmad Saman, JKR senior officers, seminar participants from JKR Branches and industry players.
