AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION BETWEEN PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT (JKR) AND STADIUM MALAYSIA CORPORATION (PSM)

30 DISEMBER 2024- An engagement session was successfully held on 30 December 2024 between the Public Works Department (JKR) and the Stadium Malaysia Corporation (PSM) at the VVIP Royale Lounge, Level 2 of the Kuala Lumpur National Stadium.

JKR led by Dato' Ir. Hj. Norman Bin Md Rabani as Director of JKR Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur (JKR WPKL) and Project Superintendent and Ir. Ahmad Shahruzi Bin Ahmad, Director of Building Facilities Maintenance Branch (CSFB).

The Stadium Malaysia Corporation (PSM) was represented by its Dato' Hans Isaac, Chairman; En. Iliyas Bin Jamil, Chief Executive Officer; and four board members, Ir. Mohamad Darus bin Selamat, the Chairman of the Asset Management Committee.

After the engagement session, it was followed by a visit to the project site:

1. Axiata Arena Stadium Upgrading Works;
2. National Aquatic Centre Facilities and Equipment Upgrading Works; and
3. National Squash Centre Upgrading Works.

With this visit, it can provide an opportunity for all parties to see and review the progress of the project directly in addition to creating two-way communication between the client, JKR and the contractor.

Alhamdulillah, the engagement session went well and various technical issues and project management strategies were discussed to ensure that the work runs smoothly as planned.
