'INNOVATION TALK SHOW WITH THE CHIEF SECRETARY OF THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE NATIONAL TECHNICAL PROFESSIONAL DAY 2023'

In conjunction with the National Technical Profession Day 2023, JKR Centre of Excellence for Engineering and Technology (CREaTE) has organized an Innovation Talk Show program with the Secretary General of the Ministry of Public Works, on October 19, 2023.

The objective of this program is to comprehend the issues and challenges associated with innovation in the local economic sector, particularly in the construction industry. In addition, this innovation talk show will also look at the strategies and initiatives that could potentially implemented to promote and empower innovation implementation and the adoption of new technologies in this country. The dialogue concept featuring four (4) invited panelists and a moderator, who are as follows:

The first-ever program with the theme "Profesion Teknikal Pemacu Pembangunan Malaysia MADANI: Isu dan Cabaran Inovasi", corresponds to the third core of Malaysia MADANI, which is 'Daya Cipta'. The goal of the program is to spur technical professionals' creativity, to produce cutting-edge innovations that line up with current technology, thus benefiting the local construction industry.

It is hope that this program will significantly impact the way innovation is implemented in both the public and private sectors.  With the support and aspirations that will be shared by the top management from the Ministry of Public Works, the Department of Public Works and the Center of Higher Education, it will encourage technical profession in fueling the culture of innovation and the production of high quality innovation products especially for the national construction industry.
