THE LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE (SST) 2 IN 1 HANDOVER CEREMONY FOR PROJECT BALAI BOMBA DAN PENYELAMAT SEKSYEN 7, SHAH ALAM

The Letter of Acceptance (SST) with Contract Document (2 in 1) handover ceremony for Project PROJEK BALAI BOMBA DAN PENYELAMAT SEKSYEN 7, SHAH ALAM was held on 23^th October 2024 (Wednesday) at the Emerald 1 Meeting Room, 20^th  Floor, Cawangan Kerja Keselamatan, Maju Tower, Ibu Pejabat JKR Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

The ceremony was completed by the Director of Cawangan Kerja Keselamatan YBrs. Ir. Maria Binti Marcus with the presence of YBrs. Ir. Nurul Munadiah Binti Che Dahalan, Ketua Penolong Setiausaha Teknikal, Bahagian Pembangunan, Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan  dan YBrs. Ir. Muhammad Rabbani bin Ruzali, Jurutera Bangunan, Jabatan Kerja Raya Daerah Petaling as the representative for Superintendent Officer (S.O). Also present at this ceremony are YBrs. Ar. Mohd Hafizzudin Bin Md Zahir, Arkitek Penguasa Kanan, Bahagian Pengurusan Projek 5, CKS also HOPT and HODT project team.

The ceremony started with the handing over of the Letter of Acceptance and Contract Document to the contractor, TUNAS NASIONAL HOLDINGS SDN. BHD and the ceremony continued with the signing of the Contractor's Pledge witnessed by YBrs. Ir. Maria Binti Marcus.

The scope of the Project are Construction of Category C Fire Station – 2 Compartments (2 Floors) along with other main components of the project including Logistic Store (Wet Store & Dry Store), Training Tower (5 Storey), Open Water Pond, Marching Ground and Covered Car Park. In addition, there are also support components such as Pump House & Suction Tank, Refuse Chamber, IPPT (Individual Proficiency Physical Test) Court and others. This project has been internally designed by JKR.

Congratulations to the successful contractor, TUNAS NASIONAL HOLDINGS SDN. BHD with project implementation period of 104 weeks. The site possession date for this project is 1^st November 2024 and will be complete on 29^th October 2026.

JKR, as the implementing agency, will bear the responsibility of fulfilling the Government's aspirations, ensuring that this project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards as stipulated in the contract.
