All Public Works Department members express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the service of YBrs. HJ. HASHIM BIN BUYU, GENERAL OF COMPETENCY DIVISION, CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION (SMART SKILLS), ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY EXCELLENCE CENTER (CREaTE), DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS MALAYSIA which will terminate its service as a civil servant on 07th December 2017.
He started his civil service as a Public Technical Assistant on June 1, 1979 and was placed at Jelebu District JKR Water Supply Division, Negeri Sembilan. During his 38 years of service, he has served in various grades of positions and places such as the Education Workshop, Geotechnical & Slope Design Unit, IKRAM, Education Branch, Corporate Management Branch, Policy Branch and Corporate Management and subsequently placed at the Center for Excellence in Engineering and Technology (CREaTE), JKR Malaysia as Head of Competency, Certification and Accreditation Division (Smart Skills) until now.
In the duration of service in the public service department, he had received some recognition, among others;
