The Armed Forces’ Family House Construction Project (RKAT) Handover Ceremony at Sri Miri Camp was successfully held on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 at 9.00 am at the project site.

Staffs from the Public Works Department has expressed great appreciation and gratitude for the service of YBRS. W. MOHD SAIPALLAH BIN W. KADIR, SENIOR SUPERINTENDING CIVIL ENGINEER, PROJECT MANAGEMENT DIVISION 2 (HOPT2), HEALTH WORK BRANCH who have ended end his service as a civil servant effective 22nd October 2017.

All Public Works Department members express their sincere appreciation and gratitude for the service of YBrs. HJ. HASHIM BIN BUYU, GENERAL OF COMPETENCY DIVISION, CERTIFICATION AND ACCREDITATION (SMART SKILLS), ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY EXCELLENCE CENTER (CREaTE), DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS MALAYSIA which will terminate its service as a civil servant on 07th December 2017.

Please be informed that YBrs. Ir. Ruslan bin Abdul Aziz, the Deputy Director of the State Department of Selangor has been appointed as the Director of JKR Selangor with effect from 7 August 2017.

All JKR members congratulate him on this appointment. With his experience and credibility, he will lead JKR Selangor with utmost brilliance.

It is pleased to inform that the Head Director of Public Works Malaysia had issued an instruction to carry out the duties of the Director of JKR Perak as follows:

YBrs. Ir. Abu Bakar Bin Mohamed Said, Senior Superintending Civil Engineer, JKR of Perak is directed to carry out the duties of Director of JKR Perak including as Superintending Officer (SO) and Project Director (PD), as the case may be, in addition to carrying out his essential duty effective from 1 December 2017 until the posts are filled essentially.

Pleased to informed that YBrs. Ir. Shuib bin Tabri, Director of Design Services, Electrical Engineering Branch has been instructed to carry out the duties of Senior Director of the Electrical Engineering Branch, JKR Headquarters Malaysia, including the duties of the Superintendent (SO) and the Project Director (PD) perform the essential task. This order is effective July 13, 2017 until the post is filled in strictly.

It is our pleasure to inform that the Asset Management Consulting Division, the Integrated Asset Planning Association, the Public Works Department will organize the JKR Facilities Management Seminar 2017 with the theme "KEEP EFFECTIVENESS OF JKR MANAGEMENT MANAGEMENT CONTRACT" to provide exposure on Facility Management Contract (FM) and its implementation to staff JKR. This seminar is a continuation of the 2016 Public Sector Facilities Management Seminar held at Sasana Kijang on 12 & 13 October 2016.
