The Malaysian Asset and Project Management Association (MAPMA) is pleased announce that the Asset and Facility Management Conference (AFMC 2021) is scheduled from 9 – 10 November 2021. The Conference is jointly organised with the Malaysian Association of Facility Management (MAFM) in conjunction with the International Construction Week (ICW 2021), Malaysia. This 2-day event will address the latest key practices in Asset and Facilities Management (AFM) and will be officiated by the YB Minister of Works Malaysia.
2. The theme of the Conference is “Gearing up to a post-pandemic world”. The event will be fully conducted using a virtual platform with the following objectives;
* To establish a knowledge and experience-sharing platform among AFM practitioners.
* To establish the ‘new normal’ for the AFM industry in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic
* To explore Asset Management innovative technologies and business sophistication in the era of Digitalisation and Industrial Revolution 4.0.
* To promote sustainability in AFM
* To explore new business opportunities and collaborations in the AFM industry globally
3. More than 15 key players in the AFM industry have been invited as paper presenters and panelists to share their latest knowledge, experiences and achievements. The Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia will present a keynote speech. Papers will also be presented by the Director General of Public Works Department Malaysia, Senior Executives of Asset Management Council (AMC) Australia, Chief Executive Officer of UEM Edgenta Berhad and the Managing Director of CBRE APAC (Asia Pacific), among others. The targeted participants for this event are the top and middle management of the AFM-related industries in both the public and private sectors, including academia and researchers.
